How to make the Archaeologica News Page
your start up page on your computer

If use Microsoft's Internet Explorer:

Near the top of your screen, you will see a bar called the Menu bar which has the words "File", "Edit", "View", "Insert", "Format" and "Help" written on it.
Click on "View" and a pull down menu will appear.
On the pull down menu you will see an option called "Internet Options".
Click on "Internet Options" and a dialog box will appear.
At the top of the dialog box are tabs like the index tabs on paper folders.
Click on the tab marked "General"
The "General" page is divided into 3 sections.
The top section is called "Home Page".
In the "Home Page" section, you will see a white box or window.
Delete all the text in that box
Type in this:
http://www.archaeologica.org/NewsPage.htm
Click the button marked "OK" at the bottom of the dialog box.
That's it! Now, every time you start up your computer or click on your button marked "Home", you will get the Archaeologica News Page!

If you use Netscape:

Near the top of your screen, you will see a bar called the Menu bar which has the words "File", "Edit", "View", "Insert", "Format" and "Help" written on it.
Click on "Edit" and a pull down menu will appear.
On the pull down menu you will see an option called "Preferences".
Click on "Preferences" and a dialog box will appear.
On the left side of the dialog box is an area called "Category"
Under "Category" Click on the word "Navigator"
"Navigator" is on the right side of the dialog box and is divided into 4 sections.
The top section is called "Navigator Starts With".
In this section select the radio button called "Home Page"
In the second section called "Home Page", you will see a white box or window.
Delete all the text in that box
Type in this:
http://www.archaeologica.org/NewsPage.htm
Click the button marked "OK" at the bottom of the dialog box.
That's it! Now, every time you start up your computer or click on your button marked "Home", you will get the Archaeologica News Page!
