Re: Help! Any images of the Mound City Illinois Mound?

That would be the Great New Madrid Earthquake and aftershocks, which actually changed the course of the Mississippi River: http://hsv.com/genlintr/newmadrd/ This may be the most "at risk" area in the country in terms of the potential for a devastating earthquake. And the New Madrid earthquake was a...

Re: Help! Any images of the Mound City Illinois Mound?

Nothing here on the pic of the original mounds E.P. ..it seems they have been rebuilt by the park service. If I read it right..they are only 17 feet tall though(shrug) I found this interesting . But then I did not pay as much for the test as you did..Also I believe this ancestory.com organization is run by Mormons..They are obsesse...

The Paracas skulls, however, are different. The cranial volume is up to 25 percent larger and 60 percent heavier than conventional human skulls, meaning they could not have been intentionally deformed through head binding/flattening. They also contain only one parietal plate, rather than two. The f...

Re: Coneheads

Been seeing Foerster's Facebook posts recently and he's a pretty radical dude. Even so I do like using science to debunk his BS instead of just dismissing him out of hand. Scientists should keep an open mind and use their science to disprove radical theories, not just attack a person's character. T...
