The second set is for comparison...their actual, authenticated Mousterian artifacts, as far as I know ah nuts you know I believe as you do that at least one Homo species was in the americas at a time that generally orthodoxy hasn't accepted yet that second set would have clinched it for me but bugg...

Modern humans were in Australia perhaps as much as 60,000 years ago. Definitely by 40,000 years ago. They had to use boats to get there. This is therefore no reason at all why some humans couldn't have continued around the Pacific rim and reached N America via Beringia and either an inland or coasta...

I prefer kya (thousand years ago) or mya (million years ago) - but then, I rarely get involved in stuff that happened in the last 5,000 years .... :D

The only problem with BP is that 'present' is considered to be 1950. So, 500BP is 1450AD.

I know, how disgusting that a professional geologist dares to spend his time doing geological research instead of engaging in chit chat on the internet. You should be ashamed of yourself Paul

More evapouration occus on a sunny day than a cloudy one. You can p[rove that yourself by leaving a bowl of water outside and watching the results ;) Of course, wind is also a factor. Would total cloud cover result in less cyclogenesis and reduced storm activity? Or more? If the temperature differen...

Actual question Essan: Do you know a formula that would show the amount of H20 expansion per degree of temperature increase? Thanks either way. How about this:- Saltwater continues to become more dense as it cools to the freezing point; freshwater reaches maximum density at 4°C and then expands (be...

Hey min, "stretchy and pliable substances," sounds like more than a little bit. Let's get this straight, it wasn;t found in that condition:- The researchers dissolved minerals from the fossil by soaking it in a series of slightly alkaline solutions. After a week, much of the remaining material was ...

It's not that simple. What's the main greenhouse gas? I'll give you a clue: it's not CO2 What happens when water vapour condenses? It release heat into the atmosphere. Although low level clouds do effect overall cooling on the surface, the consequences of having total cloud cover as a result of grea...

Then why, Essan, has the Bible been the primary roadmap for archaeological endeavours in the Middle East, is it because it's supposedly inaccurate, as you bizarrely claim? No, its because archaeologists have sought to prove it's veracity (despite what Arch would have us believe about all archaeolog...

I would expect summers to be as warm or warmer too. Andthere'd be higher humidity. Sounds awful. I would also expect the ice sheets to melt (due to higher temps and increased rainfall) leading to higher sea levels. Hmm, sounds positively Cretaceous! Of course, such events would late a long time to e...

Essan, you say "either the Bible is wrong or the world is wrong," can I quote you on that, and what in the world do you mean by "the world?" Wrong choice of worlds. Reality would be better. Reality doesn't match the Bible. They can't both be right ..... The Bible says thousands of people up and lef...
