Graham Phillips' Moses Legacy

Hi, just wondering if any of you have ever read Graham Phillips' the Moses Legacy? If so, what did you think? The Bible makes a lot more sense now (The Old Testament being seriously slanted towards Judah's favor), and the mountain in Edom being the original "Mountain of God" and all the jazz. Anyway...

surely we can do SOMETHING to save such potential treasure?

I found this article to be the most interesting of the news for me over the past few months. Today I was reading Durant's "Heroes of History", which for me and my studies was actually a bit of a primer, having cared nothing for Greece or Rome for so long.... Anyways, Durant speaks of the philosophie...

Well, I guess I was just thinking that perhaps some or many of the "idols" they found had purposes other than for religion. Thinking that maybe we read too much into what we find sometimes. Minimalist, was that image from Pompeii on a wall? Some pottery? Where did you find that and what is it painte...

I tried to be half assed serious... :)

Hi guys -this thread is funny and all but I was actually being half assed serious. Think about it. Most "art" was painted in the impressive palaces and high places etc was it not? So what would your average man/woman do? Build themselves a little statue and have a good ol' "shake"... it really does ...

Yeah but Monk the thing is I am "part of" a community that has gained a very bad name amongst those who are not "part of". Many people choose not to accept Christianity because they hear talk of the Crusades, the hypocrisy, and the whole Western mindset being as it is.... its hard to take the fact t...

The first porn?!

I've had this crazy theory for a while now. Call me sick-minded if you like, but.... What is all these so-called "fertility figurines", or many of them, were simply early man's way of stimulating himself visually when he couldn't find or didn't have a female counterpart? Does anyone else think like ...

Hypocrisy.

Being a believer in Jesus myself, (youre gonna love this first bit), I gotta say I am PISSED OFF (yeah I swear! - part of who I am. I can only express myself certain ways sometimes - this is me, NOT hiding behind my religion like many do.) at many christians in general - how many have $300,000 house...

Realization.

Hey there - I just realized that in fact they do have some information on the dating of the texts at earlychristianwritings.com, on each of the text's pages..... there's a lot to go through.... but that's why I own a computer, so I can "geek out" in archaeology/history. Here's to a better view of ou...
