A topic we've gone around with several times resurfaces.
One of the most remarkable conclusions is the verification that today's arid desert was a subtropical savanna with plenty of flora and fauna six thousand years ago. Rains decreased as a consequence of a process of climate change and animals moved to other places to face the lack of water.

Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

And that project 'only' covers the western Sahara!
Have you seen the size of that mother?

You are only too correct RS.
We are talking a huge area.
If it was that fertile, what will we find when we really look.
BTW, who knew there was either Basque or Sahrawi archaeologists ?

Okay...let's not forget the Eastern Sahara, courtesy of Wendorf and Schild.

Thanks, Min. That's an interesting write-up. Surprisingly, for a subject like this, no pitchers, diagrams, or maps at all, though.
Charlie's M.O. reversed, as it were.
